FirePro UK are the UK & Ireland appointed independent exclusive distributor for the LPCB certificated FirePro condensed aerosol fire suppression product. FirePro systems, the product manufacturer, are headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus and were recently acquired by HALMA PLC. Kate Blake joins the FirePro UK team, to work alongside MD, Tony Hanley, as Director of business development.

Commenting on her new role as director of business development Kate informed Fire Safety Matters: “I am extremely delighted to have been awarded the opportunity to work alongside Tony Hanley, who has worked tirelessly to establish both the technology and the FirePro brand here in the UK. I intend to build on the platform of success that the business has and to grow the FirePro UK business.”

Her mission is to create further demand for the FirePro and associated portfolio of products, across the UK & Ireland, also to promote the LPS 1204 3.2 competency scheme to the specifier market and encourage the FirePro installer network to follow best practice accreditation.'

The FirePro product range lends itself to protecting many fire risk types from virtually all classes of fire, to lithium-Ion battery storage, and Ex classification, in numerous applications for many different industries. The FirePro UK case study library is testimony to the success they have delivered in the UK for the FirePro product and includes successful projects such as the Lloyds of London building, Tayside Ninewells NHS, offshore lighthouses, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. British Airways, Eurostar and many more.

'Kate brings a solid track record of business development experience from over three decades, starting in construction (specializing in Social Housing), and migrating across to fire safety in 2016. Her wealth of experience will most definitely serve as a major asset. We foster a strong culture of sustainability, nurturing new talent for the future of the industry, promoting diversity, and expanding knowledge and fostering growth. It therefore goes without saying that we will also fully support Kate in continuing as co-founder of the Women in Fire Safety annual awards, which has grown massively since its inception in 2021. we will definitely be joining the 2024 event in London this September.
