The Scutum UK team received guidance with the manufacturer’s requirements, also site visits where needed, to assist with the recommended positioning of the additional ceiling or wall mounted FirePro generators.
Following a full evaluation, Key factors behind the professional team’s decision to select FirePro included:
• The speed of installation could be guaranteed to meet the programme, with readily available materials and full technical support from FirePro UK.
• UK wide reference installations with fully satisfied users, were readily available for the team’s inspection, as well as visiting FirePro’s manufacturing HQ in Cyprus.
• As of Sept 21 systems may now be installed & certificated in accordance with the LPCB scheme ref 1204.
• The product is supported in the UK by a large network of independent 3rd party accredited fire systems specialists, thus alleviating the risk to the end user of being locked in for after sales servicing.
• Sacrificial footprint, 10-year hydrostatic testing and special logistics for pressurised cylinder requirements were eliminated.
• The client is assured by an independently certified (KIWA & UL) 15 year product life cycle, and wholly sustainable, environmentally sound solution.
• Compensatory measures for apertures that do not close may be made, with ease, to ensure correct agent hold times.

“Whilst we need a relatively tight enclosure when FirePro is released, in cases like this, we can use the manufacturer’s leakage calculation tool that tells us how much additional compensatory agent is required. FirePro UK was able to guide the Scutum UK team with the manufacturer’s requirements, also to visit site, to assist with the recommended positioning of the additional FirePro generators that were all ceiling or wall mounted. We forged a good working relationship with the client, and as a result of this success, they are considering the removal of obsolete gas suppression systems and replacement with FirePro. I call that a win-win.”
