FirePro is now part of the Halma PLC group of companies and in the UK & Ireland, we continue to provide immersive education and support on our condensed aerosol fire suppression technology via our accredited CPD learning session, backed up by 'Melissa' our mobile demonstration unit. This allows delegates to physically see FirePro in action and share the significant advantages that utilising the technology (in the right application) brings.
Yesterday was no exception and we want to extend our sincere thanks to Jason Pye, and the EA-RS team for hosting our visit to their Essex UK HQ.
By delivering classroom learning AND a physically demonstrating how FirePro systems are engineered against the applicable BS/EN engineering standards for condensed aerosol using the Kentec Sigma XT control unit, we always enjoy great feedback and interaction that spark insightful discussions around potential applications and opportunities where FirePro products may be utilised to mitigate risk of fire. It was no different on the day, with valuable questions and discussion around system design, speed of installation, commissioning and periodical inspection and testing of condensed aerosol fire suppression systems.
We were also able to share that the fire installer community is positively pursuing their accreditation against the LPS 1204 3.2 competency scheme for condensed aerosol systems which we continue to advocate in order to keep raising the bar for fire safety engineering. Another piece of news is that FirePro is also now approved to fully integrate with the Advanced ExGo range of control and indicator panels, and peripheral devices. Yet another leap forward.
